Quadworx® indexable milling cutters rule the roost when it comes to high-feed milling.

Quadworx® tools are available as screw-in or shell-type milling cutters and with Pokolm’s patented DuoPlug® clamping system for maximum radial run-out accuracy and stiffness.

An internal coolant supply ensures a high level of process reliability and the reliable removal of chips when machining deep cavities. Process reliability is further increased by the absolutely stable positioning of the cutting tool during intermittent cutting.

With embedded insert seats, the milling cutter has high tooth stability. This stability increases the service life of the mill body while also enabling high material removal rates and greater productivity.

The Quadworx® range also includes a 90° insert in size XL, meaning the high-feed cutter can also be used for shouldering and slotting applications.

Indexable inserts

The precision-manufactured indexable inserts in various material grades are extremely economical with four cutting edges and a long tool life. The special face cutting geometry, which combines a large radius with a face cutting edge, opens up a wide range of applications in the machining of complex 2.5D and 3D geometries. Even in rough machining, Quadworx® can deliver exceptionally high-quality surface results right off the bat. The optimized cutting edge geometry helps to minimize temperatures in the cutting material and ensure even chip removal. Meanwhile, the special coatings raise the bar in the economical machining of rust- and acid-resistant materials.
