Pokolam has been a member of the Manufacturing Innovations Network e.V. (MIN) since 2024. The MIN members work together to develop innovative products and processes in the field of metalworking for the aviation industry.
Pokolm is a member of the Manufacturing Innovations Network (MIN)

Über MIN
For more than ten years, manufacturers, users, developers and researchers in the MIN have been working together to realize innovative products and processes in the metalworking industry. Not only the basic machining process and alternative metalworking processes, such as additive manufacturing, but also all the necessary components of the entire process chain are carefully considered.
The focus is on the aerospace industry. However, the results and findings can also be applied to manufacturing processes in the fields of rail vehicle construction, medical technology, automotive engineering, ship and yacht building, mechanical and plant engineering, and wind turbine construction.
As an integrating partner platform that bundles value-added potential along the process chain, the network complements the individual competencies of its members in order to successfully achieve synergies and develop new product and process innovations.
“At MIN, Pokolm can pick up on impulses from a range of different areas. The appeal for us is that, although the network is aircraft-focused, it is still interdisciplinary across all C-technologies. Seeing things from different perspectives helps us to identify trends and new requirements at an early stage. At each meeting, there is a targeted transfer of knowledge and information.”
Members' assembly 2025
This year's regular general meeting took place on February 25 and 26, 2025 at the Digital Experience Center (DEX) of Siemens Motion Control in Erlangen. Each year, a different member organizes the annual network meeting and presents their company.
During a tour of the DEX, the participants of this year's network meeting were able to experience digital transformation up close. Using innovative processing technologies, visitors to the DEX were shown how digital transformation can be accelerated and how manufacturing can be made more productive and sustainable on the basis of digital twins.
As a world-leading supplier of products, systems and solutions for drive technology and the control of machine tools, Siemens Motion Control supports the entire process from design, programming, simulation, control and documentation to quality control.

“I particularly like the informal exchange with other MIN members at eye level. During the tour of the DEX, we were able to meet customers and learn about their expectations of Pokolm in passing. This makes developing new business contacts and fields particularly enjoyable.”
